Ambleside in Windermere is a community almost completed, but there is still availability to call this neighborhood home. Ambleside is conveniently located close to Terwillegar and Riverbend. Ambleside has quick access to the Terwillegar Rec. Centre, shopping at currents in Windermere, several schools, churches and other great amenities. Shopping and Dining
One of the best features of this amazing community is that it's within walking distance of the Currents in Windermere. The ever expanding shopping centre offers the conveniences of big box retailers like Walmart, Canadian Tire and Home Depot. It also has a growing selection of restaurants like Boston Pizza, Chili's, Browns Social House and the Keg. There's also a Cineplex theatre with a VIP option, the only one in Edmonton!
New School!
Right within walking distance of where we're building new homes for happy familes is a new pubilc K-9 School called Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour K-9. This School will have it's first school year in 2017 and looks pretty spectacular!
The new school in Ambleside will be named after Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour, a prominent scientist who has dedicated decades of work to encouraging girls and young women to consider careers in the sciences and engineering.
The School will also partner with the YMCA to offer after school programs.
Paths and Parks
Wandering through the community are walking paths with plenty of flora. The walking paths are great for a quick jog, a relaxing walk, a leasuirely ride though the treed areas, ponds, small parks and playgrounds.
Ambleside in Windermere features storm water management facilities that act as ponds surrounded by park space. Walking trails and greenery make this a great space to soak up the sunshine. Ask your new home builder about the walkout lots available.
